Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to every shop and user of HailShopWare. It supplements the Terms and Email & SMS compliance page.
1. Prohibited uses
- Unlawful spam, phishing, or deceptive commercial messages
- Uploading purchased/scraped lists without consent and claiming they opted in
- Removing, hiding, or circumventing required consent checkboxes
- Harassment, threats, or abuse of customers or other users
- Malware, scraping other tenants, or probing security
- Impersonating another business or forging sender identity
- Using the Platform to violate privacy, telemarketing, or consumer-protection laws
2. Email & SMS
Only contact people with a lawful basis. Marketing requires recorded opt-in plus contact acknowledgment where our tools require it. Honor unsubscribes promptly. Keep a valid physical postal address in Settings for commercial email.
3. Enforcement
We may throttle, block sends, suspend features, or terminate accounts for AUP violations or legal risk, with or without prior notice when necessary to protect customers or the platform.
